Job summary

Columbia Tech in Westborough, MA is seeking an experienced delivery driver to perform on-time pickups and deliveries throughout the day. You will follow safety protocols, maintain daily logs, and operate pallet jacks or forklifts to secure loads for transport.

Responsibilities include verifying materials, basic vehicle maintenance, and reporting issues to the Logistics/Warehouse team. A valid DOT card and 2+ years of driving experience are required along with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

2+ years of driving experience.
Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
A valid DOT Card with ability to be recertified as required.
No failed or refused drug / alcohol tests in the last three years.
No MVR Poor or Borderline grading results as per policy.

Responsibilities

Making on-time deliveries / pick-ups throughout the day.
Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws and be responsible for the safety of the vehicle and the goods.
Accurately complete a daily truck log and escalate issues identified with the truck to lead/manager.
Loads and unloads material using pallet jack or forklift equipment.
Properly verifies and prepares material for deliveries and secures it in the truck.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance and upkeep of the truck; check fluids, brakes, tires, and cleanliness.
Verify material against transfer sheets and ensure correct destinations are loaded.
Perform special projects as assigned by Logistics/Warehouse leadership.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
