Job summary

Tri-Valley Career Center is seeking a Driver to support warehouse operations by transporting orders to customers and ensuring on-time deliveries. The role requires safely operating vehicles and following company safety guidelines for loading and unloading.

The driver will verify loads, choose efficient routes, inspect vehicles, and record delivery information, with mandatory overtime as needed. Valid license, clean DMV, and insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Valid State Driver’s License
• Must have clean DMV record
• Current auto insurance
• Forklift certification or ability to acquire certification
• Ability to operate Stake Bed Trucks

Responsibilities

• Drives truck or van to transport materials to customers, verifies loads against shipping orders and obtains signed receipts for material delivery
• Determines the best route to deliver the product timely to meet the customer expectations
• Records delivery information, inspects truck, equipment and supplies as required and immediately reports deficiencies
• Performs all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse as well as loads and unloads trucks
• Reports customer feedback to company management including, customer requests, returns, performance, competitive information and potential sales opportunities
• Reports out of stock items to Warehouse Manager/Branch Manager
• Work mandatory overtime as needed
