Alamo National is hiring a Full Time CDL Bus Driver at Palm Beach International Airport in West Palm Beach, FL. You will transport customers to and from the rental facility safely and efficiently, while communicating with other bus operators to maintain top service standards.

Qualifications include Florida CDL with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements, 1 year bus driving experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and the right to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CDL with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements.
• No more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions in past 5 years.
• Minimum 1 year bus driving experience with CDL transporting passengers.
• Must have customer service experience.
• Able to perform manual labor (lifting/bending).
• Must lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must complete pre-employment DOT physical exam and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service including greeting and directions.
• Ensure safe, clean, and comfortable transportation.
• Maintain bus mechanical soundness and schedule maintenance.
• Observe traffic regulations and use defensive driving.
• Assist passengers on/off and manage luggage as needed.
• Operate radio professionally to communicate status.
• Inspect bus and report hazards to management.
• Follow route and bus spacing as required.

Establishes and maintains clear communications with other bus operators and management team to ensure a consistent, superior level of customer service. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards.

Overview

Alamo National has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time CDL Bus Driver. The Bus Driver provides superior, friendly, efficient service during the rental car process, transporting customers to and from the rental facility in a safe and timely manner. Establishes and maintains clear communications with other bus operators and management team to ensure a consistent, superior level of customer service. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards. The pay for this position is $18 / hr and is located at the Palm Beach International Airport 2125 Belvedere Road West Palm Beach, FL 33406.

This position requires a Florida CDL with both the Passenger and Air Brake endorsements.

This position does not allow for any other paid employment - No Moonlighting.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service including greeting, arrival statement; identify level of service, determining airline drop-off, giving direction to exit and thanking customers.
• Provide safe, clean and comfortable transportation.
• Ensure that the bus is mechanically sound and that all required preventive and scheduled maintenance has been performed.
• Obey traffic regulations, use defensive driving skills and drive with seat-belts fastened.
• Assist passengers on and off the bus and help with luggage as needed.
• Operate radio in a professional manner using ten codes to keep base and other buses informed of traffic and location status.
• Inspect bus for damage and ensure that all equipment is in working order. Inform manager of any maintenance and or safety hazards.
• Follow route and bus spacing as required by location busing standards.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.

• Must have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger and Brake Endorsement.
• No more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years.

• Must have a minimum of 1 year bus driving experience with a CDL transporting passengers.
• Must have previous customer service experience.
• Requires ability to perform manual labor (i.e. bending, lifting, etc.).
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds to assist customers.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must be able to complete a pre-employment DOT physical exam and drug test to obtain a Medical Card as required by the USDOT.
• No moonlighting is allowed (no other paid employment allowed).
