Job summary

Biovation Labs is seeking a Dosing Tooling Specialist in Salt Lake City, UT to manage and optimize compression and encapsulation tooling. You will ensure tooling readiness, execute rapid changeovers, troubleshoot issues, and maintain GMP-compliant records to maximize uptime and product quality.

The role requires hands-on experience with tablet press tooling, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; travel and lifting requirements are possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in nutraceutical or GMP-regulated manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with tablet press and encapsulation tooling preferred.
• Ability to lift up to ~50 lbs and perform setup/maintenance with dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Manage, inspect, clean, and store tab/encapsulation tooling, punches, dies, and turret components.
• Ensure tooling readiness, perform rapid changeovers, and troubleshoot tooling issues.
• Maintain tooling lifecycle records and compliance with GMP and 21 CFR Part 111.
• Coordinate tooling refurbishment and vendor services; manage tooling inventory and tracking.
