Job summary

MeriCal in Southern California and Ogden, UT, is seeking a Process Engineer, Technical Ops to optimize and troubleshoot tablet, capsule, and powder manufacturing processes. This role owns the technical performance of dry-fill, compression, encapsulation, blending, granulation, and powder-fill processes—driving robustness, yield, and quality from pilot to full production.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of process engineering experience in solid dose manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with solid dose processing equipment and GMP requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize manufacturing processes for tablets, capsules, and powders.
• Lead scale-up from pilot to commercial production with CPPs.
• Investigate and resolve in-process issues and implement CAPA.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Maintenance to troubleshoot equipment issues.
