Job summary

Inova Center for Personalized Health is seeking a Dosimetrist 2 to join our team. This full-time role, Monday through Friday, includes a sign-on bonus and opportunities to contribute to advanced treatment planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Dosimetry or Related Field.
• 1 year experience as a Dosimetrist.
• Certified Medical Dosimetrist Upon Start.

Responsibilities

• Performs intracavitary dosimetry, interstitial dosimetry and HDR dosimetry.
• Takes ownership for the correct billing entry for all Physics planning procedures.
• Performs two-dimensional and three-dimensional IMRT, SRS and SRT computerized external beam planning.
• Performs secondary manual calculations of treatment monitor unit calculations.
• Provides leadership and mentoring to level I Dosimetrists.
• Assists Physics in acceptance testing, implementing and troubleshooting treatment planning software.
• Performs secondary check of treatment plans.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.
