Job description

Location: Mt. Sterling, IL Department: Dorothy’s Market Reports To: Dorothy’s Market Manager

Your Role: This position consists of a variety of duties including but not limited to customer service activities, operating a cash register, maintaining store conditions, and processing inventory.

Role Specifics:

• Part time; including shifts during the week daytime and evening, as well as 1 weekend shift per week.
• 20-30 hours per week.
• Presents a helpful and positive image to customers and answers questions as needed.
• Manages customer check-out through the cash register.
• Stocks shelves (dry, frozen, or refrigerated) as needed.
• Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.
• Assists in merchandising product within the store.
• Assists in the cleaning of store shelves and immediate work area.
• Assists in identifying and pricing product ready to go to the floor.
• Assists in receiving and processing delivery trucks daily.
