The University of South Florida College of Nursing is seeking an outstanding research scientist for the position of Dorothy Benjamin Term Scientist in Memory Disorders. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the research, teaching, and service missions of the College and provide leadership in advancing and expanding memory disorders research within the College of Nursing.
We are seeking a collegial, collaborative, and grant-funded faculty member with research interests focused on developing innovative solutions to address health conditions associated with neurocognitive disorders, particularly those affecting memory and other neurodegenerative conditions.
The successful candidate will maintain a high level of externally funded research, publish regularly in peer-reviewed journals, disseminate research findings, and promote the translation of research into practice in collaboration with clinical and community partners. The incumbent will mentor junior faculty, clinician-scientists, and students; participate in the development and submission of interdisciplinary grant applications for centers and training programs; and contribute service to the College, University, and profession.
The candidate may also teach at the graduate and/or undergraduate levels and will be expected to promote an environment of excellence and collaboration among faculty, staff, trainees, and students.
