University of South Florida College of Nursing seeks an outstanding researcher for the Dorothy Benjamin Term Scientist in Memory Disorders. The role advances memory disorder research via externally funded programs and cross‑disciplinary collaboration with clinical and community partners.

Qualifications

• Earned PhD in a health science field with demonstrated teaching, research, and service.
• Demonstrated record of published research in scientific journals.
• Preferred: PhD in Nursing or related field.
• Evidence of obtaining competitive federal extramural funding.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active, externally funded program of memory disorders research.
• Secure and maintain competitive extramural funding.
• Publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals and disseminate results.
• Translate research into practice with clinical and community partners.
• Mentor junior faculty, clinicians, postdocs and students.
• Lead interdisciplinary grant proposals for centers/training programs.
• Collaborate across College, USF Health, and external partners.
• Contribute to graduate/undergraduate teaching as appropriate.
