LAUKOA is seeking an experienced custodial worker to support dormitory cleanliness and maintenance in Charleston, SC. The role involves heavy-duty cleaning in common areas, stairwells, and exterior spaces, ensuring sanitary and safe conditions align with federal safety standards.

You will perform daily cleaning tasks, restock supplies, and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly while following all chemical handling and PPE procedures.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year custodial or porter experience in a commercial or institutional setting
• Working knowledge of cleaning equipment supplies and sanitation procedures
• Ability to follow cleaning protocols and handle chemical cleaning agents safely
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs bending climbing stairs and standing for extended periods

Job Summary Supports FLETC dormitory cleanliness and maintenance by performing heavy duty custodial tasks in common areas stairwells hallways and exterior dormitory spaces Ensure sanitary and safe conditions are consistently maintained in compliance with high cleanliness standards and federal safety requirements.

Location Charleston SC

Pay Rate 1775 per hour 509 H&W per hour 2284 per hour

• Clean and sanitize restrooms stairwells laundry rooms and common areas
• Clean and disinfect high touch surfaces within the communal areas of the dormitories

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of English to follow instructions and communicate with staff
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Must pass background check and meet all site access requirements

Additional Requirements

• Must be eligible for DHS background investigation and suitability clearance
• Must be a US citizen or lawful permanent resident with work authorization
• This position may require the operation of Company provided vehicles
• If operating Company provided vehicles maintaining a valid drivers license in good standing is a condition of employment
• If operating Company provided vehicles employee must comply with all Company vehicle use and safety policies as well as all applicable traffic laws
• If operating Company provided vehicles the Company may review your motor vehicle record MVR as permitted by law to verify eligibility to operate Company vehicles
• If operating Company provided vehicles you must immediately notify the Company if your drivers license is suspended revoked restricted expires or if your driving privileges otherwise change

Work schedule will either be 0700 1600 or 0630 1530Work schedules are determined by management and may be modified at any time based on business needs contractual obligations and operational requirements
