Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking a residential dorm supervisor to oversee senior residential advisors and dorm operations. You will ensure a safe, homelike living environment, manage budgets and facilities, and support student leadership development.

Strong written and verbal communication, plus computer proficiency are required. The role includes coordinating program activities, staff supervision, and contributing to policy updates.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and 2 years related experience working with youth, 2 of which should be in a supervisory capacity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required
• Valid Utah driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage the administrative and programmatic activities of assigned dorms
• Review and approve budget expenditures for assigned dorms; manage facilities for assigned dorms
• Provide staff training, evaluate staff performance, administer staff discipline, and implement department changes
• Assist in development and implementation of new and revised policies affecting residential living

Pay: $53,515 annually

Schedule –

Full Time, 8hr shifts,
Monday and Tuesday 1pm-10pm
Wednesday 3p-12pm
Thursday 4p-1am
Friday and Saturday OFF
Sunday 7am-4pm

Job responsibilities:

Directly supervises senior residential advisors, and residential advisors. Responsible for the management of assigned residential living dorms, which include a safe and homelike atmosphere, dormitory and maintenance, social skills, dorm culture, and student leadership.

Essential Functions

• Plan, coordinate and manage the administrative and programmatic activities of assigned dorms.


• Review and approve all budgetary expenditures for assigned dorms; provide property control and facilities management for assigned dorms; manage dorm incentive program for assigned dorms


• Provide staff training, evaluate staff performance, administer staff discipline, and implement departmental changes as approved by the director, social development & student services


• Assist in the development and implementation of new and revised policies, procedures, and programs affecting residential living; participate in on-going residential living self-assessments

Education And Experience Requirements

• Associates degree and 2 years related experience working with youth, 2 of which should be in a supervisory capacity
