Flanigan's Enterprises is hiring a host/hostess to greet guests, manage seating, and maintain a friendly, professional front-of-house presence. You will assist guests from entry to exit, handle the wait list, answer inquiries, and support the team to ensure a smooth dining experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Complete Florida Responsible Vendor program compliance.
• Complete Florida food safety certification compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to tables with a welcoming attitude.
• Manage seating flow and wait list efficiently.
• Answer phones and direct inquiries to the proper staff.
• Conclude visits with the Flanigan'sSmile Talk and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and side work.

Overview

You're the first smiling face our guests see every time they enter a Flanigan's, and likely the last as they go on their merry way. You set the tone for the entire experience, greeting all of our friends and family in a warm and welcoming way. You help usher guests to their tables, manage the flow of seating, field inquiries, and greet people on the way out, just as nicely as on the way in. We're always looking for the most friendly, hospitable people to join the team.

Responsibilities

• Displays and maintains a cheerful and courteous temperament, as well as displays a neat and clean professional image
• Greets guests with Flanigan's "Smile Talk"
• Engages guests in Flanigan's "Smile Talk" while escorting them to table in a timely manner
• Efficiently manages the Wait List for seating
• Communicates guest's questions or concerns to Manager on duty
• Keeps foyer, host/hostess station, wait area clean and free of debris, restocks and cleans menus
• Restock and maintain restroom cleanliness for guest
• Answers telephone within 4 rings, and answers guests' questions, and/or directs guests to proper staff member
• Conclude guests' visit with Flanigan's "Smile Talk"
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework

Qualifications

• Can reach, bend, stoop frequently
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutes
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutes
