The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Doorperson to join the team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world. After a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.

Located on Coronado Island, just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888. It features over 750 rooms, cottages, and villas, with 65,000 square feet of banquet space and 10 food and beverage outlets, including 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

Classification: Full-Time

Shift: Various – must be available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour, based on experience and location.

What will I be doing?

As a Doorperson, you will provide transportation services to guests and visitors as requested, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and superior customer service. Your responsibilities include:

• Welcoming guests upon arrival and assisting with luggage
• Overseeing luggage delivery and safekeeping, maintaining order in the luggage room
• Staying current on hotel services, VIP requirements, and special events
• Knowing external locations, attractions, and landmarks in the vicinity
• Supporting the Concierge in emergencies
• Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety laws
• Projecting a professional, hospitable manner focused on guest service
