Job summary

Woodgrain seeks a Doors Maintenance Technician to ensure interior doors are produced safely and efficiently. You will maintain, repair, and install equipment, support the Doors department, and promote continuous improvement with a focus on safe work practices.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, reliability, and the ability to work with limited supervision while following all safety and quality guidelines. Weekend and overtime work may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High level of mechanical expertise with production equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair production machinery and systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and downtime reduction.
• Understanding of PLC logic is preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace belts, bearings, chains and blades in the Doors dept.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform preventive maintenance during downtime.
• Inspect, lubricate, and maintain all equipment to maximize efficiency.
• Communicate issues to management and plant maintenance staff promptly.
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and company policies.
