Job summary

Frontier Door and Cabinet in Tacoma, WA is seeking an experienced Door Shop Employee to join our production team. You will set up and operate door machining equipment, assemble pre-hung door units, and maintain machinery to meet daily output goals.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in a pre-hung door production facility, proficiency with Norfield Magnums, Strike Routers, and Eagles, and familiarity with Weeke Point-to-Point CNC machines.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pre-hung door production facility.
• Proficiency with Norfield door machinery or similar equipment.
• Familiarity with Weeke Point-to-Point CNC machines is a plus.
• Knowledge of Wood WOP software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate door machining equipment (Norfield Magnums, Strike Routers, Eagles).
• Machine and assemble pre-hung door units up to 120 lbs to exact specs.
• Maintain machinery and troubleshoot to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with production team to meet daily output goals.
• Assist with inventory management and record keeping.
• Perform quality control checks and address issues promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and machinery.
• Read and interpret BOMs and production paperwork.
• Use hand tools and interpret hardware schematics.
