Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Production/Assembly/General Labor worker for the 2nd shift (3pm–1:30am), Monday through Friday, to support door production. The role emphasizes reading ticket instructions, inspecting quality, and using wood tools to repair doors while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities include identifying defects, performing repairs with hand tools, and collaborating with upstream and downstream departments to ensure quick recovery and repair of process-oriented defects.

Qualifications

• Read interpret ticket instructions and specifications, identify and discern product quality, identify defects, knowledge of sanders, planers, hand tools putty knife, sanding block wood chisel, and high attention to detail, multi-tasking and assisting with various stages of door production as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify defects and perform repairs using provided tools.
• Minimize cost of quality (COQ) while meeting customer quality expectations.
• Assist with various stages of door production as needed.
