Job summary

Huskey is seeking a Door Production Manager to lead our door production operations on onsite Franklin, TN. You will set direction on the production floor, remove obstacles, and drive a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.

You will manage daily workflows, coach supervisors, and partner with scheduling, purchasing, sales, and logistics to meet production targets and deliver high-quality, on-time products.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably doors/building products.
• Ability to organize, plan, and drive processes on the production floor.
• Data-driven decision making with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, and schedule targets.
• Translate production schedules into actionable plans and allocate resources.
• Monitor workflow and remove bottlenecks in real time.
• Drive quality standards, reduce defects and waste.
• Manage labor productivity, staffing, and overtime.
• Ensure materials are staged and production-ready.
• Maintain 5S discipline and a clean, safe shop.
• Track KPIs and collaborate with scheduling, purchasing, sales, and logistics.
• Coach and develop supervisors and team members.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Huskey is looking for a strong, hands-on leader to run our door production operation. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, accurate, and on-time product in a safe, organized, and disciplined manufacturing environment.

You will be on the production floor daily—setting direction, removing obstacles, holding the team accountable, and driving continuous improvement. If you value structure, ownership, and results, this is a key leadership opportunity.

What You'll Do as a Door Production Manager

• Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, and schedule targets
• Translate production schedules into clear, executable plans
• Monitor workflow in real time and remove bottlenecks quickly
• Drive quality standards and reduce defects, rework, and waste
• Manage labor productivity, staffing, and overtime
• Ensure materials are staged and production-ready
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop (5S discipline)
• Track and improve KPIs (output, quality, labor, inventory, cost)
• Partner with scheduling, purchasing, sales, and logistics teams
• Coach, develop, and hold supervisors and team members accountable
