Job summary

Schwieters Companies, Inc. is a family-owned millwork and doors provider seeking a Millwork Door Picker and Forklift Operator for 1st shift. The role includes picking door orders, loading shipments, and using a scanner to track inventory.

Candidates should be able to lift 50+ lbs, maintain quality, and work well with a team. The position offers a full-time schedule on 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm) with overtime as needed, paid weekly, and comprehensive benefits including medical/dental, PTO,

Qualifications

• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Detail oriented with accuracy in picking and packing.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team.
• Able to understand and follow written/verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Pick door orders from a pick ticket.
• Wrap, bundle, and load material for shipment or delivery.
• Manage orders to be completed on time.
• Use a scanner to check inventory and adjust material locations.
• Select material from shelves for next steps.
• Inspect all material for quality.
• Stand, walk, lift repeatedly during shift.
• Communicate with department lead on progress.
