Job summary

Schwieters Companies, Inc. is seeking a full-time Millwork Material Picker in Hugo, MN. The role involves managing orders, selecting and preparing materials, and ensuring on-time deliveries within a safety-focused warehouse environment.

Qualified candidates should have prior material picker experience, be able to operate a forklift, lift 50+ lbs, and communicate clearly. Over time may be required; benefits include health coverage and 401(k).

Responsibilities

• Manage orders to be completed in full and on time.
• Use a scanner gun to check inventory and adjust locations.
• Select material from shelves and prepare items for next steps.
• Inspect all material for quality.
• Stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Communicate with department lead on progress with work orders.
• Teamwork to achieve 100% on-time deliveries.
• Pick material using stand/sit forklift as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schwieters Companies is hiring a full-time Millwork Material Picker.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage orders to be completed in full and on time
• Use a scanner gun to check inventory and properly adjust material locations
• Select material from shelves and prepare items for next steps
• Inspect all material for quality
• Stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Have constant communication with department lead on progress with work orders
• Work together with a team throughout the warehouse to achieve maximum efficiency with 100% complete and on-time deliveries
• Pick material using a stand/sit forklift as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous material picker experience preferred
• Comfortable learning to operate a forklift
• Candidate must have a good work history
• Able to lift 50+ lbs. comfortably
• Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder
• Able to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions, have good communication skills (verbal and written), and be detail oriented
• Capable of standing for extended periods of time
• Flexible in working overtime when necessary

WORK SCHEDULE

• Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm, overtime as needed

PAY

• $20-$21/hr. (depending on qualifications/experience)
