Turner Construction Company is seeking a Division 8 detailer to develop detailed door and hardware schedules and coordinate opening requirements per contract documents. You will prepare submittals, cutsheets, and RFIs, ensuring local code compliance for commercial projects.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of estimating experience, with proficiency in blueprint reading and Microsoft Office. Strong math and communication skills are essential; on-site work in San Antonio, TX is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited program and 1 year of related experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably with estimating.
• Proficiency in blueprint/plan reading and interpretation of specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry software.

Responsibilities

• Review sales sheets and job requirements to verify estimates and price extensions.
• Detail opening quantities from contract documents and ensure code compliance.
• Prepare submittals, shop drawings, cutsheets, and RFIs with product data.
• Schedule materials, verify costs, and support chosen products.
• Coordinate updates and resubmissions post-approval or for orders.
• Maintain compliance with UL, fire, building, ADA, and safety regulations.
• Provide clear notes for GC or architect during submittals.
• Assist Project Manager or location manager as needed.
