Job summary

Allegion plc Fontana is seeking a Door Finisher to operate grinding tools and finish metal surfaces for painting, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety and teamwork.

The role requires 1–2 years in a high-volume production environment, dexterity with metalworking equipment, and the ability to load and layout materials. The base hourly pay ranges from $20.00 to $23.00, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years manufacturing experience.
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment.
• Metalworking / Hollow Metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Dexterous with manufacturing equipment, basic power tools and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate grinding tools and maintain continuous workflow through adherence of documented processes.
• Produce parts utilizing the 'top down' production list.
• Assist with daily PM schedule for machine, manuals and procedures.
• Perform first part inspections as well as in-process quality checks.
