Gratz Pilates, LLC. is seeking a Metal Finisher to join our shop team. The role focuses on basic smoothing, shaping, and finishing metal products using grinding equipment, ensuring high-quality finished parts flow smoothly into production.

Responsibilities include operating grinders, inspecting pieces for defects, and adjusting settings to achieve the correct finish. Candidates should read blueprints, maintain tools, and work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational training required.
• Proven experience as a metal grinder/finisher or similar role.
• Strong understanding of grinding machines and hand tools.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to lift and move heavy metal parts.
• Safety-conscious with adherence to safety regulations.

Responsabilités

• Operate grinding machinery to remove excess material and smooth edges.
• Inspect metal pieces for defects and unfinished edges.
• Adjust machine settings to control speed, feed, and depth of cut for desired finish.
• Maintain and replace grinding wheels and other machinery parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings for production work.
• Keep workstations organized and tools properly stored.
• Coordinate with supervisors to meet timelines and quality standards.
