Allegion is seeking a Door Finisher to operate grinding tools and prepare metal surfaces for painting in our Fontana, CA facility. You will focus on quality, safety, accountability, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include setting up tools, producing parts from the production list, performing first part inspections, and maintaining a clean, safe work area with adherence to PPE and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years manufacturing experience.
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment.
• Metalworking / Hollow Metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Dexterous with manufacturing equipment, basic power tools and machinery.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate grinding tools and maintain continuous workflow through adherence of documented processes.
• Produce parts utilizing the ‘top down’ production list.
• Assist with daily PM schedule for machine, manuals and procedures.
• Perform first part inspections as well as in-process quality checks.
