Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope (OBE) is seeking a Shower Door Coordinator to support customers with price quotations, product information, and order changes. You will read and interpret architectural drawings and work with AS400 and CR Laurence GlazierPro to generate timely quotes.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, accurate pricing, and the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. On-site position with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front-line customer service role is required.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel and Word) and learn new software programs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for price quotations, product availability, customer orders, and changes via phone, fax, and email.
• Resolve customer complaints and problems quickly and professionally.
• Understand the glass and hardware product lines.
• Read drawings showing measurements of custom glass orders.
• Generate pricing quotes in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shower Door Coordinator

What you get to do:

• Receive and process requests directly from customers (via telephone, fax and email) for price quotations, product availability, customer orders, product information, order changes, and cancellations
• Quickly and professionally resolve customer complaints and problems
• Understand the glass and hardware product lines
• Read and understand drawings showing measurements of custom glass orders
• Utilize AS400 and CR Laurence GlazierPro computer programs
• Generate pricing quotes in a timely manner
• Possess strong customer service skills
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers
• Sustain a working technical knowledge of all available products
• Perform other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

• Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of this job
• Experience in a position that deals directly with customers (front-line)
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Skilled in MS Office and proficient in Excel and Word.
• Ability to read, interpret, & understand architectural drawings and specifications.
• Previous sales/customer services experience in the building materials industry is helpful
• Ability to learn computer software estimating programs to prepare estimates
• Strong math skills; especially with fractions and decimals as a unit of measure
• Organized, self-starter with the ability to multi-task numerous projects, phones, and work with minimal supervision
• Ability to learn custom door hardware applications and pricing
• Ability to develop and maintain effective customer relationships
