TRACHTE BUILDING SYSTEMS INC in Sun Prairie, WI is seeking an assembler to manufacture and assemble rolling steel curtain doors for a growing employee-owned metal storage building company. The role focuses on quality assembly and safe operation of equipment in a second shift setting.

Responsibilities include assembling components, operating equipment, welding as needed, and performing inspections while maintaining clean, organized work areas and accurate time documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred but training available.
• Previous assembly experience desired.
• Previous computer experience in manufacturing software a plus.
• Ability to handle continuous change, prioritize, and work under deadline pressure.

Responsabilités

• Assemble various types and sizes of rolling steel curtain doors.
• Safely operate Automatic Door Table and roll formers.
• Weld axle components when required and operate cranes and forklifts.
• Perform daily crane and forklift inspections and quality inspections.
• Record time in/out on work orders and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Communicate issues with paperwork, machinery, or safety to leads and supervisors.
