Job summary

Metrie in Mechanicsburg, PA is hiring for an assembly line worker to build door components on a fast-paced line. You will use pneumatic, power and hand tools to assemble units to customer specifications.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm schedule and overtime as needed. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, eye care, life insurance, and a 401k plan with up to 4% match.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Work safely and follow all plant rules.
• Communicate in English clearly and effectively.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently or in a team.
• Read a tape measure and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Assemble doors on an assembly line following quality specs.
• Read and interpret production tickets to build units as requested.
• Use pneumatic, power and hand tools safely; apply labels where needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and general product knowledge.
