Job summary

84 Lumber is hiring a full-time Door Shop Manufacturer to join our production/warehouse team on the door assembly line. You will operate power tools, prep wood materials, and help load, unload and package production items while ensuring quality on the line.

Candidates should be able to read simple instructions, lift up to 80 pounds, and have a high school diploma or GED. 84 Lumber promotes from within and offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple one or two-step instructions; deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Must be able to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate power saws, air nail guns, staplers and other tools to prep wood material for door assembly.
• Forklift training, certification, and operation.
• Load, unload, store and package production material from the warehouse as needed.
• Monitor quality assurance throughout the production process.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety rules.
