Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a production associate in Vandalia, with 1–2 years of manufacturing experience. You will read tickets, set up and operate a production machine, and ensure accuracy by interpreting blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, cleaning work areas, and following SOPs to support consistent production and quality. The role requires reading diagrams, using hand tools, and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred not required.
• 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.
• Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
