Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope (OBE) is hiring for a general fabrication and door assembler on the 1st shift. You will use hand and power tools, read fabrication drawings, and perform quality inspections to ensure each door meets specifications.

You must be able to stand for long periods, multitask, and work overtime. We value teamwork, safety, and willingness to be trained in other areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience using and reading a tape measure to the 16th's.
• Experience reading and understanding fabrication drawings.
• Experience using powered industrial tools.
• Read written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
• Multitask, prioritize and work under time constraints.
• Must be a team player and willing to be trained to work in other areas as assigned.
• Communicate well with peers and management.
• Must be able to work 1st shift, with periods of required overtime.

Responsibilities

• General fabrication and assembly of doors using hand and power tools, quality inspections as well as other duties which may be assigned.
• Must be able to work 1st shift with periods of required overtime.
• Regular and predictable attendance and adherence to safety policies are essential.
