Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is hiring a Machine Operator 1 for the Entrances Department in Texas. You will set up and operate equipment, fabricate and assemble doors with hand and power tools, and perform quality inspections to ensure product quality.

The role requires reading tapes and fabrication drawings, using powered tools, and willingness to be trained in other areas. 1st shift with overtime and a focus on safety and attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience reading a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and follow written instructions.
• Experience with powered industrial tools and hand tools.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet time constraints.
• Willingness to be trained to work in other areas and to work 1st shift with overtime.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble doors using hand and power tools and perform quality inspections.
• Operate equipment in the Entrances Department and ensure efficiency.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with safety policies.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
