Job summary

Texas Building Supply, a division of USLBM Holdings, seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a team of 8+ door-assembly associates across Texas markets. You will oversee daily production, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with line leaders to optimize workflows.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in the industry, a High School diploma, forklift certification, and strong teamwork and communication skills. This on-site role offers growth within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of industry experience in door assembly.
• Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lay out pre-hung door component supplies and materials on carts or floor.
• Stock plates for component setup.
• Assemble components under the direction of the line leaders.
• Load and band finished materials on carts/pallets inside and/or outside.
• Receive incoming products, commodities, and materials.
• Track materials per job and complete daily production schedule.
• Maintain work area by keeping it neat and organized.
• Assist in the set-up of component assembly process.
• Monitor production workflow process assisting other areas as needed.
• Operate all equipment necessary to the assembly process.
• Assist in maintaining an organized work environment including cleaning bays/staging areas.
• Provide excellent customer service and participate in a positive work environment.
• Monitor inventory as required by location management.
• Retain awareness of the work environment to produce error free results.
• Supervise a team of 8+ associates with budgeting, goal setting, and performance management.
