Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Production Assembler in Beloit, WI to build fiberglass, aluminum, and wood doors by following detailed work orders. You will read specs, handle materials safely, use hand and power tools, and perform quality inspections in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of manufacturing or general production experience.
• Experience with assembly and fabrication in a production/industrial setting.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools listed and read work orders.
• Mechanical aptitude for working with fiberglass, aluminum and wood.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail with strong quality inspection skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders to understand door specifications and assembly instructions.
• Pull and prepare door slabs and parts for production orders.
• Assemble fiberglass, aluminum, and wood products using routers, saws, drills, and nailers.
• Inspect finished work for defects and take corrective action as needed.
• Package finished products for shipment and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
