Job summary

D.W. Distribution, an SBP brand, is hiring Production Associates for our Interior Doubles division within our Door Fabrication facility in Lancaster, TX.

The Production Associate will assemble pre-hung door units and may be cross-trained to support other areas as needed. Essential functions include operating machinery safely, taking precise measurements, and following work tickets to ensure accurate orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–2 years of experience in wood products, cabinetry, construction, millwork or related industries preferred.
• Forklift certification is highly desirable.
• Basic math and measurement skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-hung door production tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Maintains a production pace that aligns with the assembly line and minimizes errors.
• Safely utilizes machinery as directed.
• Performs accurate measurements to ensure product quality.
• Follows work tickets for order accuracy and material handling.
• Utilizes forklifts to move materials within the plant.
• Receives materials from vendors and stores them properly.
• Stacks and stages products for delivery to customers.
