Job summary

State of South Carolina, through its University Advancement division, seeks a stewardship-focused administrator to oversee Scholarship Accounting, Donor Relations, and Stewardship. The role leads the development and management of a comprehensive donor engagement program to build lasting relationships and ongoing support.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years with a CRM (preferably Blackbaud/RE NXT), plus strong customer service, ethics, and driving record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least two years of experience with a CRM, preferably Blackbaud/RENXT.
• Excellent customer service skills and demonstrate sound judgment and ethical demeanor.
• A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages key areas within University Advancement, including Scholarship Accounting, Donor Relations, and Stewardship.
• Leads the development, implementation, and administration of a comprehensive stewardship program designed to strengthen long-term relationships with donors and key stakeholders through donor-centered engagement.
• Oversees coordination and administration of more than 400 scholarship awards annually, including review and interpretation of endowed gift agreements to ensure donor intent and compliance.
