Job summary

The Lawrenceville School seeks an Assistant Director of Stewardship to oversee the gift acknowledgements, donor reports, and visible recognition programs across campus. You will manage the end-to-end acknowledgement process, support major stewardship reporting, and assist in grant communications with foundations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3–5 years in stewardship, alumni relations, fundraising, or related field preferred.
• Excellent writing and organizational skills; clear verbal communication across mediums.
• Creative, entrepreneurial approach to assigned work; experience with donor relations and events preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end gift acknowledgement process; craft messages and document correspondence.
• Assist in major stewardship reporting for endowment funds, chairs, and scholarships.
• Support grant relationships and stewardship of grant funders.
• Plan and coordinate donor recognition activities and donor events on campus.
• Maintain stewardship records and data; collaborate with teams to update fund/donor information.
