Rider University seeks an Associate Director for Stewardship & Annual Giving to develop comprehensive donor stewardship, engage alumni and donors, and strengthen long-term relationships. This role collaborates across Advancement, Finance, and Marketing to ensure timely, personalized communications and meaningful donor engagement.

The position also supports scholarship donor stewardship, donor recognition, and impact reporting, while serving as backup for gift processing and promoting Rider Fund

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years in advancement, donor relations, stewardship, annual giving, or related fields.
• Experience managing donor relationships and implementing stewardship strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; producing donor correspondence and reports.
• Strong organization, analytical, project management, and time management skills.
• Experience with relational databases; Raiser's Edge preferred; Banner a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
• Commitment to confidentiality, data integrity, and ethical fundraising.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement donor stewardship strategies to engage alumni, friends, and foundations.
• Serve as primary steward for scholarship donors and support annual giving initiatives.
• Collaborate across Advancement, Finance, Financial Aid, and Marketing for timely communications.
• Provide backup for gift processing and generate impact reports for donors.
• Coordinate donor recognition programs and acknowledgment efforts for Rider Fund.
• Attend occasional evening and weekend events as needed.
