Job summary

K-LOVE is seeking a Donor Services Specialist to support donor engagement and data integrity. You will manage donor communications, process contributions, and maintain accurate records with a focus on compassion and confidentiality.

The role emphasizes high-volume phone work, collaboration with the ministry team, and adherence to branding and donor-centered service standards. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and CRM familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with donor-facing experience.
• 2+ years of customer service or donor-facing work.
• Experience with CRM/databases desirable.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound donor calls (90% on phone).

To Succeed As a Donor Services Specialist You Will

• Be extremely detail oriented, organized, thorough, and efficient.
• Have a high work ethic and desire to help others on your team.
• Thrive in an environment of over-the-top customer service by being highly relational and consistently empathetic.
• Truly desire to pick up the phone and take inbound as well as make outbound calls to donors. (90% of your day is on the phone)
• Be comfortable and satisfied, sitting 6+ hours a day.
• Be flexible moving between computer and manual processes.
• Be social, relational, caring, with others, but we do have a lot to accomplish, so able to balance that with getting to the work at hand.
• Can identify potential capacity in a donor for increased engagement opportunities.
• Have excellent verbal and written skills (ability to write in our brand voice).
• Be experienced in MS Office Products and ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Be donor passionate, donor centric

Experience And Expertise

• Bachelor’s Degree, or combination of education/training with relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service, administrative support, or donor-facing experience preferred.
• Experience with CRM or database systems highly desirable.
• Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in processing information, managing records, and completing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with team goals and protocols.
• Sound judgment in handling confidential information and discerning sensitive donor matters.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/Ministry relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to represent Ministry professionally and maintain listener confidentiality.
