Job summary

The Salvation Army in Racine, WI is seeking a part-time Donation Processing Associate to be the first point of contact for donors. You will greet donors, process donations, and ensure accurate receipting while keeping the donation area organized and safe.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or actively pursuing one.
• Strong English communication for donor and team interactions.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Basic math skills for donations and receipts.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and provide exceptional donor service.
• Process and track donations accurately.
• Keep donation area clean and organized.
• Sort, load, and unload Salvation Army trucks per policy.
• Power sort donations as they arrive where applicable.
• Support production processes as needed.
• Safeguard donated materials and equipment.
• Report complaints, damage, or injuries in the donation area.
• Guide donors on acceptable materials and pickup services for heavy items.
