Kedrion Biopharma Inc. is seeking a Medical Screener to join our plasma center operations in the United States.

You will combine customer service with healthcare procedures to support donor safety and eligibility, welcome donors, take vital signs, and assist with the donation process to help create life-saving therapies. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, adherence to cGMP and regulatory standards, and clear communication with donors and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or plasma/blood collection.
• Clinical Laboratory Personnel license required in the State of Louisiana.
• Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication.
• Detail-oriented with regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register donors with accurate data entry.
• Guide donors through health screening, reviewing health history forms and determining need for medical review.
• Perform vital signs and fingerstick blood sampling to measure hematocrit and total protein.
• Prepare and calibrate screening equipment per SOPs and troubleshoot as needed.
• Monitor donor safety and report adverse reactions to medical staff.
• Explain donation process, policies, and safety guidelines clearly and professionally.
• Maintain donor records and ensure documentation meets cGMP and regulatory requirements.
• Operate internal systems (NDDR, CDCS) per guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and update supply lot numbers.
• Support plasmapheresis by preparing collection machines and assisting with disconnections.
• Participate in center audits with accurate records and compliance docs.
• Collaborate with staff to meet production goals and donor experience.
