KEDPLASMA, a Kedrion Biopharma Inc. subsidiary, seeks a Medical Screener to join the donor screening team. You will greet donors, guide health screenings, take vital signs, and assist with the donation process in a patient-focused setting.

You will maintain accurate donor records, comply with FDA/cGMP/OSHA standards, and support the plasmapheresis process while ensuring donor safety and a positive experience.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Clinical Laboratory Personnel license required in Louisiana.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with regulatory compliance focus.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours including evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Familiarity with FDA, cGMP, and OSHA standards is a plus.

Mansioni

• Greet and register donors, ensuring accurate data entry.
• Guide donors through health screening and determine need for medical review.
• Perform vital signs and fingerstick sampling to measure hematocrit and total protein.
• Prepare and calibrate screening equipment per SOPs and troubleshoot as needed.
• Monitor donor safety during screening and donation and report adverse events.
• Explain donation process and center policies clearly and professionally.
• Maintain donor records and ensure regulatory-compliant documentation.
• Operate internal systems including NDDR and CDCS per guidelines.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and stocked with updated supply lots.
• Support plasmapheresis by preparing machines and assisting with disconnects.
• Participate in audits with accurate records and compliance docs.
• Collaborate with staff to meet production goals and donor experience.
• Answer donor/public inquiries courteously and transfer calls as needed.
