Job summary

Kedrion Biopharma Inc. seeks a Medical Screener to support donor health screening and safety in our plasma center. You will greet donors, collect health histories, perform vital signs, and assist with the donation process in a patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities include documenting accurate data, maintaining compliant records, and ensuring donor safety while upholding cGMP and regulatory standards. Flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare, retail, or plasma/blood collection.
• Clinical Laboratory Personnel license required in the State of Louisiana.
• Familiarity with FDA, cGMP, and OSHA standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register donors, ensuring accurate data entry.
• Guide donors through health screening and determine if further medical review is needed.
• Perform vital signs and fingerstick sampling to assess hematocrit and protein levels.
• Prepare equipment and monitor donor safety during screening and donation.
• Explain processes and center policies clearly, maintaining compliant records.
