Job summary

Save the Children is seeking an Advisor, Supporter Engagement and Fundraising to drive direct mail fundraising and retention efforts. You will develop strategies, manage campaigns, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance donor lifetime value.

Hybrid work options include DC, Fairfield CT, and Lexington KY; you will lead campaigns, coordinate vendors, supervise staff, and report on performance against short- and long-term metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years in relevant roles.
• Direct mail experience in fundraising contexts.
• Proven leadership and people management abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills under deadlines.
• Advanced MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe skills.
• Professional proficiency in English; cross-cultural collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee strategies to grow donor retention and direct mail fundraising.
• Manage relationships with creative agencies, printers, and data processors.
• Lead campaign planning, including house-file mailings and donor journeys.
• Analyze performance with dashboards and reports; advise leadership.
• Supervise staff and foster diversity and inclusion.
