Job summary

Eventide in Lincoln, NE seeks a Director of Philanthropy Communications to advance the foundation's mission by securing philanthropic support and building donor relationships. You will manage a portfolio of donors, develop fundraising plans, and connect supporters with impactful opportunities that advance senior care.

You’ll lead moves management for mid-level and major gifts, coordinate with administrators and clinicians to align funding priorities, and create compelling proposals and impact

Qualifications

• Experience managing mid-level and major gifts, typically $5,000-$25,000+, and closing gifts.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; nonprofit or healthcare/philanthropy experience valued.
• Proven ability to develop proposals, impact reports, and funding cases.

Responsibilities

• Manage a donor portfolio of 120–150 donors with engagement plans.
• Develop and execute fundraising plans to meet revenue targets.
• Identify and cultivate mid-level and major gift prospects.
• Conduct donor outreach via meetings, calls, and written correspondence.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to align funding priorities.
• Prepare compelling gift proposals, presentations, and impact reports.
• Monitor portfolio performance metrics and adjust strategies.
• Represent Eventide in the community and at fundraising events.
• Support board members and volunteers in stewardship and solicitations.
• Maintain accurate donor records in Raiser's Edge NXT.
