Job summary

Hawaiʻi Public Radio is seeking a Donor Relations Officer to grow fundraising revenue by managing an assigned portfolio of donors and prospects capable of giving $1,000 or more, delivering personalized outreach and solicitation to achieve annual goals.

The role focuses on developing trusted donor relationships, supporting major giving and planned giving efforts, and collaborating with the membership team to ensure long-term financial sustainability for Hawaiʻi Public Radio.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with donor relationships and securing charitable gifts while meeting revenue goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative team player with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and steward an assigned portfolio of donors to increase retention and upgrades.
• Create tailored donor communications to boost engagement and revenue.
• Plan, coordinate, and participate in donor events.
• Support growth of planned giving and Legacy Society.
• Collaborate with the membership team to identify major donor prospects and grow revenue.
• Maintain donor records in the database and prepare fundraising reports.
• Meet annual fundraising goals and contribute to overall Membership revenue.
