Job summary

The Garden Conservancy in Greenwich, CT seeks a Development Associate to support the director of institutional advancement and the annual fund. You will help implement membership and annual giving programs, assist with cultivation and fundraising events, and coordinate donor communications with care and professionalism.

This entry-level role requires organization, attentiveness to detail, and strong teamwork to advance donor relations and program outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a college or university and one-year related experience and/or training.
Entry-level opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented individual.
Experience communicating with donors and members preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate acquisition, renewal, and lapsed donor mailings and emails; assist with the year-end campaign.
Generate gift acknowledgments, manage mailing, and retain records as required.
Produce donor recognition materials for print and electronic formats, including newsletters.
Interact with members and the public to explain the membership program and benefits.
Deliver and fulfill membership benefits, including Open Days Directories and member tickets.
Provide online account support for purchases and member credit redemption.
Track results and run reports on fundraising mailings and campaigns.
Assist with meetings, educational programs, and special events.
