Job summary

Orange County Rescue Mission is seeking a Donor Relations Manager/Mid-Level Officer to steward a caseload of 400–600 donors and grow mid-level giving. You will cultivate relationships, solicit gifts, and maintain donor data in the CRM while coordinating hand-offs to Major Gift Officers. Regular strategy meetings with leadership are required.

Candidates need a BA and 2–3 years fundraising experience, with strong communication, data hygiene, and research skills to advance the ministry’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 2–3 years related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and communicate fundraising information clearly.
• Proven experience maintaining donor records and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Manages a caseload of 400–600 donors and cultivates mid-level giving.
• Solicits and closes gifts, communicates program impact to donors.
• Updates CRM notes and donor information for data hygiene.
• Identifies high-capacity donors and coordinates hand-offs to Major Gift Officers.
• Meets with DoD bi-weekly and CDO quarterly to discuss strategy.
