Job summary

Orange County Rescue Mission is seeking a Mid-Level Officer to manage a caseload of 400–600 donors, nurture donor relationships, and drive financial partnerships in support of ministry goals.

The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience, a BA degree, and strong communication, math, and analytical skills. You will update CRM records, coordinate donor communications, and collaborate with the DoD and CDO to refine fundraising strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (BA) required.
• 2-3 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and communicate effectively.
• Math skills to calculate figures such as discounts, commissions, and percentages.
• Strong reasoning to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Manages a caseload of 400–600 donors and cultivates relationships to deepen financial partnership.
• Updates the CRM database with call notes and donor information to maintain data hygiene.
• Identifies and promotes hand-off of high-capacity donors to the Major Gift Officer with DoD approval.
• Meets with the Director of Development bi-weekly and the Chief Development Officer quarterly to discuss strategy and donor initiatives.
