Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a gospel-centered Advancement Officer (part-time) to cultivate donors and manage a portfolio of gifts. You will collaborate with the program director and leadership board to expand funding through relationship-building, events, and stewardship.

You bring mature faith, active church involvement, and leadership experience in fundraising or related fields. This role emphasizes integrity, clear communication, and Kingdom-minded impact in the lives of students.

Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Leadership experience in professional or volunteer capacity.
• Experience in fundraising or related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a LifeWise ambassador, introducing LifeWise Academy and cultivating interest.
• Effectively communicate the vision, mission and priorities of LifeWise to prospective donors.
• Oversee a portfolio of donors and prospects, meeting with prospects, ambassadors and donors regularly.
• Participate in each step of the donor pipeline and maintain an organized system for donor stewardship by updating constituent records in the LifeWise CRM.
• Provide regular reporting of major gift progress to the program director and leadership board.
• Develop strategies to renew and upgrade donor gifts.
• Participate in planning and execution of fundraising events and follow up with donors in a timely manner.
