Job summary

Grace Christian School seeks a Development Officer to cultivate donor relationships and grow the school’s generosity. The role focuses on stewarding the Annual Fund, managing donor communications, and representing GCS in local networks with a commitment to Christian ministry and integrity.

The role requires strong communication, organization, time management, and a mature faith life; reports to the Head of School and is exempt.

• Acceptance of Grace Christian School’s statement of faith.
• Strong Christian testimony.
• Mature, godly spirit.
• Person of faith and prayer.
• Commitment to spiritual growth through prayer and Bible study.
• Active participation in a Bible-believing church.
• Conviction to Christian school ministry.
• Follow Matthew 18 principle in conflict.
• Christian appearance aligned with school policy.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate donor relationships as vital members of the GCS community.
• Steward the Annual Fund Program; design and execute events, programs, and communications.
• Manage the SGO Initiative.
• Manage the Communication Calendar focused on development events and opportunities.
• Maintain the Donor Database and donor records.
• Participate in local community events as a Grace Christian School representative.
• Support Head of School with fundraising campaigns and major gifts.
• Perform other duties as coordinated with Head of School.
