Job summary

Gift of Hope seeks a highly motivated professional to build and sustain relationships with hospital leadership across Chicago's Northern area and North/Northwest suburbs. You will implement programs, evaluate potential donors onsite, and coordinate referrals to advance organ and tissue donation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, healthcare administration or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years’ related experience such as business development, marketing, sales or clinical background.
• Ability to speak persuasively and influence senior level hospital staff.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data.
• Effectively communicate policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Ability to function with a high degree of autonomy.
• Ability to learn and understand hospital administrative and clinical functions.

Responsibilities

• Advance Gift of Hope's mission, vision and core values; adhere to all policies and procedures in carrying out responsibilities.
• Maintain Hospital Development responsibilities for assigned hospitals; act as expert resource for organ and tissue donation and develop policies to support donation.
• Develop and implement plans to optimize hospital performance, including annual Hospital Plan, track results and adjust plans as needed.
• Maintain Organ/Tissue responsibilities: support referral management, on-site donor evaluation, and participate in rounds.
• Coordinate Patient Care Conferences and participate in reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
